although he didn't get off the bench much in the final game, John Shurna has to feel good about this tournament. today the
USA finished their 9-0 run to the championship with a win over Greece. although Shurna only averaged 12.2 mpg, he finished 5th in rpg on the team, and his numbers translate to 12.7 rebounds per 40 minutes.
and that's good, because NU will need those rebounds if Kyle Rowley plays like he did this summer for Trinidad and Tobago, he won't be much help.
T&T finshed out of the medals and there was very little, if any, mention of Rowley's contributions.
