what's funny here is that while Dickie V blindly rushes to the defense of any coach, he might change his stance if he found out about Carmody's affinity for Europeans. Every year we get a 5 minute anti-Euro rant from him at the NBA draft, yet he still depends Carmody the Europhile? very strange.
i meant to say "defends" not depends. I blame Carmody.
I tweeted to Vitale in rebuttal:
Carmody's had a decade to deliver; all he's given us is one NIT loss. Rich Falk did a better job. As did O'Neill and Ricky Byrdsong
No response.
If Vitale disagrees with you, you must be doing something right.
