Bo Ryan and Tom Izzo are severely underpaid
this is a long but fairly interesting article about how badly Penn State has fucked its basketball program. assuming the salary numbers are close to accurate, it's remarkable that Bill Carmody is making nearly the same as Bo Ryan. safe to say that their respective career accomplishments are not quite on the same level.

Check the source records to get the correct pay information - go to Guidestar.com or Northwestern's website - the 990's are downloadable. Your linked article overstates Carmody's pay for 2007. Even with benefits and deferred compensation, it's under $1MM.
This article is all the more depressing given Wednesday's debacle.
